Most of the users were getting confused, so I've reorganised the content into tabs and resizable sections, removed pop-up windows and improved the UI by designing everything, from icons to layout, working closely with the branding and marketing team.
User Experience Design
Only UX and information architecture, no UI design
This is a complex scientific product, created by Cambridge scientists, initially for scientists, with a Python interface, interacting with Rust that runs directly on quantum computers.
It was so successful that they were ready to compete with IBM, Google, and other big players in the quantum computing world, and were acquired by Honeywell.
I was appointed to design the UX of the QCaaS (Quantum Computing as a Service) cloud software that runs on real quantum computers through a web UI, while allowing scientists to also use it and intuitively switch to the Python APIs and back.
As there is an NDA on this project, this is a sneak peek example of UI wireframes I created using Sketch.

AI SEO ‑ GEO & AEO
Optimising websites for AI-driven search
Alongside classic SEO, I optimise websites to be understood and cited by AI-driven search. That means Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) to earn a presence in the answers of tools like ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) for featured snippets and direct AI responses ‑ built on solid technical SEO, structured data, entity and authority signals, conversational question-led content, and, where useful, emerging llm.txt integration. It's a fast-moving field, so I keep learning and iterating as AI search evolves.
